MJC 2013 and 18th Anniversary of Srebrenica Massacre

The Srebrenica Massacre was the worst that Europe had seen since the second World War.

In Bosnia, at the 4th Muslim Jewish Conference, 100 young Jews and Muslims got together and went to visit Srebrenica where they prayed for the victims of the genocide together in the traditions of Islam and Judaism. Today on the 18th tragic anniversary we again want to pay our respect to the victims of the massacre. At a time where hatred and violence are still all around us, we will go on to be a sign of hope and our brothers’ and sisters’ keepers.
