Over 100 participants were welcomed by the MJC team for the 5^th annual Muslim Jewish Conference hosted in Vienna, Austria. After a well deserved rest upon their arrival, as some participants had travelled as long as 30 hours, all participants and team members joined together for dinner. After an opening speech by Secretary General of the MJC, Ilja Sichrovsky, the conference was officiated in true MJC tradition. The participants belonging to the same faith were grouped together to discuss some of the generalizations, both positive and negative, that they feel are associated to their group by people outside of their religious communities. An activity accurately dubbed ‘Breaking Down Stereotypes.’
